Information on the collection of personal data

(1) Below, we provide information on the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data refers to any data that can be linked to you personally, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.

(3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, we will store the data you provide (your email address, and, where applicable, your name and telephone number) in order to answer your enquiries. We will delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or restrict its processing where statutory retention obligations apply.

(4) If we use contracted service providers for specific functions of our website or wish to use your data for marketing purposes, we will provide detailed information below regarding the relevant processes. We will also specify the criteria for the retention period.

 

§ 2 Your rights

(1) When you use the website purely for information purposes – that is, if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information – we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR):

  • Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

  • Access status/HTTP status code
  • Amount of data transferred in each instance
  • Website from which the request originates

  • Operating system and its user interface

(2) In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with the browser you are using, and through which certain information is transmitted to the entity setting the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot execute programmes or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:

  • Persistent cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, which allows various requests from your browser to be assigned to the same session. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time via your browser’s security settings.

d) You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all the features of this website.

 

§ 4 Privacy Notice

On our website, you also have the option to share the content displayed with various people in your network. To do this, you can use the ‘Share’ function provided by ‘AddToAny’. Whilst you are visiting our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the AddToAny server. This provides AddToAny with the information that you have visited our site using your IP address. The use of AddToAny involves the use of cookies. The data generated in this process (such as the time of use or browser language) is transmitted to AddToAny and processed there. Using the cookie set for this purpose, AddToAny can track which other websites with the AddToAny plugin and which social media services you visit. However, as the provider of our website, we have no knowledge of the content of the data collected independently by AddToAny, nor of its actual use by AddToAny. We also have no access to this data. If you do not wish AddToAny to be able to link your visit to our site to your respective user account, please ensure you log out of your social media accounts and delete the cookies set by AddToAny. Please note that you have the option to install a tool that prevents the AddToAny plug-in from being activated. § 5 Integration of Google Maps

(1) On this website, we use the Google Maps service. This enables us to display interactive maps directly on the website and allows you to use the map function conveniently.

(2) When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant page of our website. In addition, the data specified in § 3 of this policy is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before clicking the button. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or tailoring its website to users’ needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google.

§ 6 Privacy Policy for the Contact Form

The personal data you provide to us as part of this contact enquiry will be used solely to respond to your enquiry or to get in touch with you, and for the associated technical administration. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given at any time with future effect. In this case, your personal data will be deleted immediately.

Your personal data will also be deleted without you having to withdraw your consent once we have processed your enquiry or if you withdraw the consent given here for its storage. This will also occur if storage is unlawful for other legal reasons.

You may request information about the data stored about you at any time.

§ 7 Integration of web (Google) fonts

This website uses external fonts, namely Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are integrated via a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This results in information being transmitted to the server regarding which of our web pages you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser on the visitor’s device.
