”For me, regular community involvement is a matter of course.“
Here is a selection of the organisations with which we have been or are currently involved.
In our society, many children are struggling. When making my donation, I was able to choose whether to allocate it to a specific country or whether it should be used where it is most urgently needed. I opted for the latter. Perhaps it is currently being used in a country where one might not expect it to be.
It really is wonderful when we have enough to eat. It really ought to be something we take for granted, but unfortunately it isn’t. That’s why it’s so important to give when you yourself are living in relative comfort.
Donation towards the preservation of the town walls in Rothenburg ob der Tauber
It is simply wonderful to preserve our historical and cultural heritage. We were delighted to be able to make a contribution towards the preservation of the city walls of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This, too, is part of our social responsibility, even if it does not take place in our immediate neighbourhood.
Donations for the University of Wuppertal’s nursery
We all agree that it is very important in our society to offer children loving support. And when you also come across such a dedicated management team, who put their heart and soul into the university nursery, you naturally want to lend a hand. We’ve put together a fantastic selection of gifts for you: NICI key rings for the summer party and high-quality play equipment for the children.
Whilst the play equipment shown in the picture was being set up, one of the children said: ‘Thank you for giving us this.’ The day couldn’t have been any better.
I supported this organisation because a dedicated doctor in my circle of friends encouraged me to do so.
It’s truly wonderful to know that there are dedicated doctors who volunteer their time all over the world, sometimes even risking their own health and, in the worst-case scenario, their lives!
Johanniter-Hilfe is present everywhere – and that’s a good thing! In every region of Germany. That should really go without saying. But I say: it isn’t the case. We must support organisations like this. Otherwise, in the worst-case scenario, hospitals will close and emergency care and youth work will no longer be possible.
What a great idea! Schools and nurseries must ensure that children are provided with fresh, locally grown fruit at all times.
